Wine reviews are an important part of marketing wine. Having bloggers with local influence and national exposure can lead to a viral awareness of your product.

DrinkNectar welcome samples to review. All samples will receive a review (at some point in time). The reviews will range from tasting notes with uploads to Cork’d to video reviews with full write-up. DrinkNectar reserves the right to conduct reviews as winery review (a walk through the offerings of one winery); varietal review (a comparison of different regions producing the same wine varietal); blind tasting (scoring of two or more unknown selections); region review (a comparison of various wines offered from within a region).

DrinkNectar reviews are always honest and fair. Readers will understand that the score and notes are based on my opinion and that opinions may vary. A copy of your review and video link (where applicable) will be sent to your winery. Upon request a PDF file with full tasting notes and review can be made available.

To get the most exposure from your review it is encouraged to Tweet, Re-Tweet often about it (also frequent Facebook posts), e-mail it to your mailing list and include it on your web site. Additionally, it is helpful to send any marketing material or supplemental information with your sample.

DrinkNectar will promote the review (good or bad) to its friends and followers. A monthly ‘best of’ will be announced along with an annual Top Nectar list (regional, Wine Variety, and value)

Reviews uploaded to Cork’d database and Cellar Tracker are scored on the standard 100 point wine rating scale. Reviews published on DrinkNectar.com are published on a 5 point scale.
