Tasting Room Update: A Tour With Your Imagination

As you read this, I should be celebrating the grand opening of Nectar Tasting Room. We should be celebrating with the Downtown Partnership by joining in the December First Friday event. We should be featuring amazing art from artist Stacey Wells. Music should be filling the room, and hundreds of wine lovers would be flowing through the doors for peek at the modern wine bar / wine tasting room vibe. Spokane residents would be meeting five new wineries. Instead, we sit pretty much in the same position as the last update (which was published November 10). November 10, Spokane […]

Walking In a Wino Wonderland – Christmas Gifts for the Wine Lover

Do you have a wine lover on your Christmas list? Buying for a wine lover can be a serious challenge. If you buy them wine you run the risk of being ridiculed for your inadequate choice. I’m still keeping an optimistic outlook for a soft launch on Friday, November 26 and an all out marketing assault and opening party on December 3. After a full 10 days of delays and minimal […]

Rebranding: DrinkNectar Becomes Nectar Wine Blog

As paint goes up on the walls at Nectar Tasting Room, it’s time to put up a new coat of paint here on the ol’ blawg. What started as a wine blog has grown into several business opportunities and adventures. Today marks the launch of the new brand(s). As you look around, you’ll see some redecorating as well. For example, I’ve better organized my wine reviews and created logical buckets to make finding information easier. The Brands In November 2009, I launched as DrinkNectar.com. With a picture taken in my basement hiding behind a wine glass and coffee cup, I […]
