Nectar Announces Improved Food Menu
Nectar Tasting Room is excited to announce a brand new food menu! The new menu reflects a commitment to quality ingredients and food that pairs well with our amazing selection of Washington wine. Chef Paloma, of Just a Couple of Moms Catering, has crafted a delicious line up of appetizers and hand tossed pizzas. Painting and Wine events with Corks and Canvas
Seems like everyone loves to paint with wine. With groups in town like Pinot’s Palate and Tipsy Muse, painting parties are springing up everywhere. Nectar Tasting Room is proud to partner with Seattle based Corks and Canvas. Now you and your friends can enjoy the great Washington wine we serve in our beautiful barrel room. Corks and Canvas events will be moving to every third Wednesday at the tasting room. Our first event was a huge success and sellout. Vintage Spokane Returns…to the Spokane Convention Center
In 2009, Spokane hosted its final Taste Washington at the Davenport Hotel. In 2011 the folks at Varsity Communications saved the day by resurrecting the event under a different name, Vintage Spokane. With over 50 wineries participating, the first event was at The Lincoln Center with the following two years being held at Northern Quest Resort and Casino. After a 1 year hiatus to regroup and look for a new location, the summer’s largest (and potentially the year’s best) wine event returns to The Spokane Convention Center. Welcome to Spokane Davenport Grand Hotel
For the last two years we have watched the skyline of Spokane change from our corner of Stevens and Main. What was once a parking lot across the street from the INB Performing Arts Center is now a grand hotel appropriately named The Davenport Grand Hotel. Spokane business icons, Walt and Karen Worthy, known for restoring and revitalizing the historic Davenport Hotel, have provided Spokane with a gift of a modern 700 room hotel and convention space.
