The tulips are in bloom and Spring has sprung. Each year Mother’s Day weekend ushers in the new wine releases from local wineries and tasting room. Spokane has an abundance of craft wine and a reputation for high quality. Stop by the 20+ tasting rooms and wineries over the upcoming weekend and celebrate mom.
Many of the Spokane wineries are featuring brand new wines and all local wineries and tasting rooms will be open from Noon-5pm on Friday, Saturday AND Sunday! Use the following link to plan your route. Make sure you stay hydrated and bring a designated driver.

Spring Release Weekend at Nectar Tasting Room
With 5 Washington Wineries and over 50 amazing wines, Nectar Tasting Room is a perfect place to include in your wine tasting adventure. We are located in the heart of downtown on the corner of Main and Stevens and are within walking distance (under a mile) from all the downtown tasting rooms. You can even take the Centennial Trail and walk the .8 miles to our second location Nectar Wine and Beer in Kendall Yards.

2013 Anelare Nonna Viola White Blend $24 – A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Crisp and refreshing with hints of lemon, vanilla and pear.
2014 Skylite Cellars Rose of Mourvedre $20 – A dry rose with flavors of strawberry and hints of crisp minerality. Perfect for a patio sipping sunny day.
2012 Coyote Canyon Barbera $25 – Estate fruit from the Horse Heaven Hills, the bright fruity Barbera pairs well with pasta dishes like spaghetti and lasagna
2012 Northwest Cellars Malbec $28 – Single vineyard Malbec from Spofford Station. Amazing blueberry aromas and flavors with hints of tobacco, leather and spice.
2010 Terra Blanca Arch Terrace Cabernet $20 – Estate Cabernet from the Red Mountain region. Bold fruit flavors and aromas with dark blackberry and licorice.
