Nectar Interview with Rick Bakas: Quick Bites
Today I sat down (virtually) for a quick interview with Rick Bakas, the Director of Social Media for St. Supery winery. Rick is rockin’ the social media world and has a new book coming out at the end of May, Quick Bites – 75 Savory Tips for Social Media Success. Rick opens up his game plan and shares the strategies that he uses for his own personal brand as well as how he manages St. Supery’s brand.
Check out the quick Skype chat with Rick and then type your little fingers over to www.quickbitesbook.com and order your copy today. You can also “like” the book on Facebook at www.facebook.com/quickbitesbook.
*Please forgive the pixelation of the Skype video. Technology is cool, but still has a ways to come 😉

I love it! It’s nice to hear from and see Rick, rather than just a pic of him. He’s the man for sure. Can’t wait to read his new book. Josh: “Explain social media in 30 seconds”. Rick: “It’s just people talking to each other on the internet”. Great answer.
great interview – agree with prior comment good to see Rick’s head move – I thought maybe it would just be a cutout of his head with his voice playing over- I would agree with Rick that it certainly seems Josh has been doing this longer than 6 mos- Look forward to the book and getting back to Washington for some great wine
Can’t wait to read the book. Just ordered it.
@SeattleWineGal – Might be fun to try to live stream our panel at the #WBC10 wine blogger conference next month. We’ll be joining together like Voltron with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson to discover how wine bloggers can grow their influence online. Looking forward to it!
@KAHUNA – some of the head movements make me think that’s what I’ll look like when I escape from the Matrix ;D
@Pierrick – Thank you for the support! Will you be in Walla Walla next month?
@rickbackas no, what’s happening in Walla Walla next month?
Thanks to everyone for coming by today for the video chat with Rick. He lives what he talks about and explains it in such a way that the principles can easily be applied. Can’t wait for the book.
