I am the mother of the "wish child" Madisen mentioned by Taryn above. Wishing Star will forever be in our families hearts for granting Maddie's wish. The family pic of our trip is the last one of us together and continues to bring a smile to our faces as we reflect on the fun we shared together and the incredible joy it brought to Maddie. We were blessed to have 2 1/2 more years w/ her after illness struck. Maddie became a 'Wish Angel' when she passed away at 12 yrs old. Thanks to Wishing Star for supporting wish children and their families now and forever in their "beyond a wish" program - once a wish family, always a wish family. Each one of our family is involved in one way or another in volunteering w/ Wishing Star. We hope you will come check out our Taste Spokane event and know that your hearts will be forever touched and changed.
